Emmet McCann’s practice consists of a significant array of conveyancing and estate related matters. In relation to conveyancing not only does he deal with residential conveyancing and mortgages his work also includes advice to the farming community on a wide range of issues, to include, transfer of assets through the generations, grazing agreements and agricultural leases. His advice includes all related tax matters to include reliefs from inheritance and gift tax and reliefs in the area of capital gains and stamp duty.
He has significant experience in will drafting and the management of estates and has particular knowledge in matters of estate restructuring and family arrangements, management and assistance on sale and distribution of Kerry Co-Op shares, ensuring farming entitlements are properly managed and other advice and assistance on estate matters.
Emmet deals primarily with the office’s housing law matters and in particular acts for clients on a wide range of transactions with Kerry County Council.
